Agent Portal — Getting Started

Use the Agent portal to list rentals, collect application fees, approve applicants, and submit them to linked landlord companies.

5 steps ~25 min Updated August 22, 2026

Who this guide is for: Real-estate agents and leasing staff whose organization uses the Tenantivo Agent portal.

Direct landlord applications stay unchanged. This path is only when an agency collects the application and later transfers it to a landlord.

Step 1

Sign in to the Agent portal

  1. Open Tenantivo and choose Agent when signing in (or go to /Agent after login).
  2. Confirm you land on Agent Home with nav for Assets, Applications, Companies, Payments, and Settings.
Step 2

Finish Get paid (Connect, identity, license)

  1. Open Get paid.
  2. Complete Stripe Connect Express so card fees can pay out.
  3. Complete Stripe Identity (government ID + live selfie).
  4. Submit your real-estate license (state, number, name). Support confirms it on the public state lookup.
Application fees stay blocked until identity and license are verified. Agent Connect accounts are trusted at onboarding (no 14-day and 10-settled payout hold). Agents do not upload property authority or company formation docs for rent collection.
Step 3

Set application fees

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Enter organization (and optional per-rental) application, background, and credit amounts.
  3. Application fees cannot exceed $150.
Applicants pay the listed fee plus platform card fees. Your agency receives the listed amount (for example $50).
Step 5

Share your org code and submit to a landlord

  1. Open Companies and share your agency org code with the landlord (or add theirs).
  2. After Approve, submit the application to a linked landlord company.
  3. You can change company or pull back before the landlord decides. Track fee paid status under Payments.
